of the Department |
The
department of Mathematics started
functioning in the year 1965 with
the inception of Pre. Degree Course
and Prof.V.Sakunthala Bai as the H.O.D.
In 1981 B.Sc Degree course and in
1993 M.Sc Degree course were introduced.
The department celebrated its Silver
Jubilee in 2006.

| The graduate course accommodate 48
students. Number of students for the post graduate
courses is 20. |
Facilities |
This
department possesses a well organized library
and well equipped computer lab. Department library
is functioning under the active supervision of
teachers. It has a vast collection of 1300 books
including prescribed text books of different grades,
reference books, journals, books for extra reading
etc. The Dept. also has an Over Head Projector
and a Slide Projector. The dept. often conducts
exhibitions, seminars and quiz competitions for
school children. |
Results

| This
department is proud of the results of its students.
Almost 90% post graduate students and 95% graduate
students successfully complete their course every
year. |
| Extension
activities |
The
dept. encourages its students to participate in
the seminars that are being conducted by different
institutions.

| Alumni
Association |
This
department has a strong Alumni association. Students
from the first batch onwards are members of this
association. Alumni association in co-ordination
with the Mathematics association of the college
conduct several activities. |

Published a paper
entitled "Two person Zero Sum Fuzzy
Game" in the international journel
of Fuzzy Mathematics U.S.A.
Presented a paper on Rectangular Fuzzy
Game in a national seminar conducted
by St.Thomas College Kozhenchery
Presented a paper "On Infinite Fuzzy
Games" in a national seminar conducted
by Payyannur College, Payyannur.
Presented a paper "On Convex Games"
in a national seminar conducted by Bharat Matha
