| The
College Library |
The
College Library consists of the General Library
and the Departmental Libraries. The library is
open to all the members of the college It will
remain open between 9.00 a.m. to 4.30.p.m. on
all the working days. Books will be issued only
on production of borrower’s ticket. The
ticket is not transferable. Books of Reference
Section will not be let out. Books for various
Entrance Examinations are available in the Reference
section. Books borrowed by students shall not
be retained for more than a week from the date
of issue. Failure to this may be charged with
a fine of Rs-1/-per day. Members, on receiving
books must examine them and report to the librarian
any damage found therein. If they fail to do so
they will be held responsible for any damage detected
afterwards. Any mark made in a book will be considered
a damage. Books borrowed from the Library may
be recalled at any time. Students shall surrender
their identity card as and when requested by the
library staff. Private books and personal belongings
of the students are to be kept at the entrance
before entering the library. No student is allowed
to carry printed matter when they enter into the
stock room. |
College
Magazine
|
The
Magazine deals mostly with subjects of literary
and academic interest and is usually issued once
a year. The Management of the magazine shall be
vested in the Magazine Committee appointed afresh
every year and composed of the following. The
Principal (Ex officio President),A Staff Editor
(nominated by the Principal), Staff Advisers (nominated
by the Principal, for Hindi, Malayalam, Science
and Arts Section), the chief Student Editor and
three student editors. |

Tour |
| Study tours conducted by the college
are part of the academic programme. |
NCC |
NCC
training wll be given to selected group of students.
Every cadet should earn 75% of attendance for
NCC training, vacancies are reserved for B and
C certificate holders in Defence Services and
various other departments.

NSS |
The
NSS is part of the Youth Welfare Programme of
the Ministry of Education, Govt. Of India. It
aims at giving training to students in Community
Service. 125 students are selected and volunteers
are given training to engage themselves in constructive
social action. Certificates are given to volunteers
who complete 240 hrs of social work during the
course of two years. |
Women's
Cell
|
| A
cell on Women's studies is instituted as per direction
from the University. The Cell concentrates its attention
on studies regarding the suppressed status of women
and measures for remedying it. |
| Counseling
Centre |
The
college has a counseling centre. In this modern
age, students are always under stress and starins.
Well trained teachers at this centre identify
the problems of the students and give proper guidance.

| Co-Operative
Society |
All
students of the college are associate members
of the college Co-Operative Society which runs
a store from where students can get books and
various items of stationary at concessional rates.

| Springs (Bi-annual Periodical Research Journal) |
The
College publishes a bi-annual periodical research
journal “Springs”.
It is a journal containing research articles from
multi-disciplinary areas. It is intended to highlight
the new trends in higher education and also to
focus on the immense potentialities in the emerging
scenario in the field. |
